Music to the ears

I’ve always preferred good sound. This is one of key reasons I can’t bear the sight (read sound) of those shaky camrips. And, when this is combined with taste is music, it becomes quite tricky. I’ve recently got Audio Technica ATH-M50x Matte Gray (Limited Edition) and the moment I put it on, I was like – Wow! These are epic. They are actually cheaper than my current existing set of earphones/headphones. In the past I’ve owned some decent earphones/headphones but there are some memorable ones.

If you ever… ever watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S and ever hummed The Remembrants song, “I’ll be there for you”… then this one is for you. This Indianized version by Mahesh Raghavan has made me play it in loop over and over again.

I always loved how the stage artists wore earphones. Of course it took me some time to know why they wore it. The best part was the way they curled over the ears which means all jumping around as they do and it won’t budge. Then I realised they are not which are available off the shelf in malls as well (many are custom-made) and have a different signature sound. I always longed to have one.
